Philipp: brilliant evenings at The Steading

Hi,

I wanted to thank you for two brilliant evenings at The Steading. As James May says, a great pub is a place where you feel at home even though you've never been there before. That's how The Steading felt for me.

If you still want that Top Gear ringtone, i can e-mail it to you, just drop me a line.

All the best,

Philipp

Philip and Jennifer: A great place for the funky fiesta couple!

Great beer, good food in a relaxed atmosphere, everyone very friendly.  We became quite aquainted with the place during our three day stay.  I'm sure you will remember us as the Irish couple with the funky green fiesta!!!

Thanks for all,

Philip and Jennifer

David Young: great food and unbeatable hospitality

I was on a short trip to Scotland with my wife and two daughters. It was my kids first ever visit to Scotland. Living in Düsseldorf ,Germany it certainly was a change for them.

The hospitality was first class and very friendly. We were looked after very well.

We took loads of photo's aswell as a couple with the long broadsword which hangs in the big room.

The food was great and the beer , well, grand.

The kids loved every second and the freedom provided to do what they wanted was also a change to rules governed Germany.

Nothing against Germany though , especially considering the 4:1 stuffing they gave England in the World Cup. I'm Scottish and was ,more than, happy with the result.

Thanks for everything, we'll be back.
