Glen Affric

From the Steading drive down the A831 to Glen Affric, a wonderful place. It contains one of the largest ancient Caledonian pinewoods in Scotland as well as lochs, moorland and mountains.This wide range of habitats make Glen Affric a haven for wildlife. There are many rare and special birds, animals and plants found here.Amongst many others look out for deer, Scottish crossbills.

Glen Urquhart

Glen Urquhart the Highland glen with a wonderful mix of planted, conifer forest and native, broadleaved woodlands. The Glen provides wonderful walks. There are waymarked walks in Craigmonie woodland, near Drumnadrochit at the foot of the glen. There is also a network of forest roads all along the glen which are ideal for walking, cycling and horse riding.

Welcome to our 36 foot static caravan, with a comfortable double bedroom and single bedroom.

There is a large comfortable lounge with tv and dvd player, dining area and kitchen set out for a family of four. Although the caravan is suitable for a self catering holiday we are able to offer meals to eat in or takeaway. The accommodation has its own private garden with picnic table.

The caravan is available for short breaks as well as weekly lets, ideal base for couples or families looking for a highland experience. From here you can easily access all the Great Glen has to offer, from climbers walkers as well as touring visitors, here you will find beautiful Glens with imposing peaks, no matter how remote the location visitors can be assured there will be a welcome here at the Steading Country Pub.

With Loch Ness only six miles away you will have easy access to all the activities on offer on both land and Loch.
